Laman Padi is a living museum and eco-tourism attraction that celebrates the rice ecosystem and a love for nature. Spanning 13.86 acres, it features 8.6 acres of serene, green paddy fields.

Visitors can explore the rich history and traditions of rice cultivation at the gallery’s exhibition, which showcases traditional farming practices and artifacts in an authentic paddy field setting.

After wandering through the fields and gallery, guests can relax at the pavilion, rest in the sheds, or enjoy the balconies with views of the expansive fields. Nature enthusiasts can explore the paddy landscapes and herbal garden surrounding the complex.

A must-see is the multi-tiered rooftop rice garden, where traditional rice varieties are planted. This spot offers an amazing bird’s eye view of the entire area.

The site is perfect for photography, with picturesque locations including the paddy fields, Paddy Gallery, Herbs Garden, traditional wooden shed, giant bird nest, and 3D mural art wall.

The Laman Padi Herbs Garden boasts 55 varieties of herb plants. Visitors can touch, smell, and learn about their health benefits, which are often used in traditional medicine, cooking, and cosmetics.

Water buffaloes, essential to traditional farming, roam the fields. You’ll see both black and albino buffaloes as you explore the lush countryside.

After an exciting tour, visitors can enjoy delicious Malay delicacies at the on-site restaurant, all while taking in the pleasant atmosphere and views of the paddy fields.
