Queen Victoria Clock Tower
The Queen Victoria Memorial Clock Tower is a prominent historical landmark in George Town, Penang, Malaysia. Standing at 60 feet tall, the tower was commissioned in 1897 by a local Chinese millionaire, Cheah Chen Eok, to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria’s reign. In 2008, the Queen Victoria Memorial Clock Tower became part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site designation for George Town.
