The Sabah Agriculture Park, located in Tenom, is a captivating destination that blends relaxation with enrichment. Spanning a beautifully landscaped area, the park showcases a remarkable diversity of plant species and serves as a conservation center for Borneo’s native orchids. With at least 350 species, including rare and endangered varieties like the Elephant Ear orchid, Rat-tail orchid, and several Slipper orchids, the park is a haven for plant enthusiasts and conservationists alike.

In addition to its role in conservation, the park functions as a training and education hub for agriculture, horticulture, apiculture, forestry, fisheries, and animal husbandry. Highlights include the Crop Museum, an 8-acre living exhibit of 400 plant species; the Ornamental Garden, featuring 21 distinct themed gardens; and the Plant Evolution & Adaptation Garden, where visitors can explore unique plant adaptations, such as the giant South American water lily. The Model Garden offers a glimpse into various garden design styles, inspiring home and professional gardeners.

Beyond its botanical treasures, the park offers activities such as jungle trekking, animal park visits, camping, and fishing, with accommodations available for overnight stays.
